Designed For You
The quiet moments, the laughter, the stillness, and all the little glimpses of that deep love. It’s about preserving how this season of your life feels, and as a mother myself, I know how much time is fleeting when we wish it would be everlasting. Let me capture the weight of a newborn sleeping on your chest. Muddy knees and little hands tangled in yours. We can’t pause time, but we can immortalise it in images, in art.
For your shoot, we might wander through the woods or stay cosy at home, wherever feels most like you and your kin. I’ll only ever guide you gently so nothing ever feels forced. I aim to give you photographs that hold warmth and your greatest memories all in one convenient offering.
I photograph maternity, newborn, and family sessions across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. They are always gentle, story-led shoots that capture the real, everyday beauty of family life.
When you invite me in, my role is simple: to be present with you and capture your family just as you are. No pressure, no posing, no awkwardness.
I approach every session with the most calm and care, creating space for you to relax and connect. Your children can play or curl up close. I’ll gently guide where needed, but mostly I’ll observe, noticing the small, honest moments that make your story yours.
If you’re ready to slow down, savour the little moments, and capture photographs that your family will treasure for years to come, let’s begin your story together.

Frequently Asked Questions
I know that booking a photoshoot, especially with little ones in the mix, can come with a few questions. Here you’ll find everything you might want to know before your session, from what to expect and how to prepare, to timings, light, and weather.
-
Maternity Sessions: Anytime from 32–34 weeks.
Newborn Sessions: Can be scheduled anytime after your 20-week scan. Some people prefer to book after their baby is born, though this depends on availability.
Family Sessions: Some people like to plan ahead, and some prefer to be spontaneous; either way works. If you’d like a weekend session, it’s best to book early, as these fill up quickly.

Zoom calls are mainly for home sessions so I can get a feel for your space and the natural light. If you’d rather not, you’re welcome to send over a few pictures instead.
-
I’m a natural photographer who loves creating authentic, heartfelt images. I may guide you for light or offer small prompts, but mostly I want you to just be together, to cuddle, play, and connect. That’s when the real magic happens.
And don’t worry, I have a few little tricks and games up my sleeve to help things feel easy and fun. -
Once your booking is confirmed, I’ll send you my client guide, it’s full of useful information from styling tips to location ideas. If your session is within two weeks, the guide will be sent digitally. We can also collaborate on a Pinterest board to gather inspiration, or you can browse my ready-made ones, be sure to share any favourites.

Natural light is essential for creating warm, authentic images. It adds softness and depth. During your session, I’ll assess the light in your home or chosen location to find the most flattering spots, ensuring each image feels genuine, natural, and beautifully lit.
-
Not at all. You don’t need a large home to create beautiful images. I work with your space’s natural light and character, finding cosy corners and well-lit areas that highlight the warmth and connection within your family. Some of my favourite photographs have been taken in the smallest, most intimate spaces.
-
A little drizzle can make for something truly magical, but if the weather takes a turn for the worse, we’ll simply reschedule. I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session so we can make the best call together.
-
I hand-edit each image with care using a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop to make sure every photo is of the highest quality. This process usually takes up to four weeks from the day of your session.
If you feel a connection to my work and would love to capture your family’s story, I’d be honoured to be part of it. I photograph families across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, and I’d love to help you create something that feels special enough to hang on your mantle.
